Meet The Team

"T" has a background in technology, software design, network engineering, audio and video editing. After a first career with IBM, "T" went on to teach middle school and high school English, Journalism, Creative Writing, and programming. Aside from tutoring, "T" works with his wife as an Educational Consultant, helping families navigate the process of placing their child in a service or educational environment to assist and improve with behavioral therapy and/or addiction.

Megan is the owner and primary therapist of The Oaks Counseling Group. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University in 2016 and then completed her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Counseling at the University of South Carolina in 2023. Megan currently holds her South Carolina associate license in professional counseling as well as a National Certified Counselor Certificate. 

Megan has worked with both adolescents and adults, within a variety of settings while collaborating with multiple local and state agencies. She is trained and experienced in counseling individuals and families facing life transitions, dealing with relational conflicts, struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use/addiction, trauma, and grief.

Megan’s approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic. The client’s mental, psychical, relational, and family well-being will be integral to the therapeutic  process.
